Privacy — development draft
This draft describes the current no-tracker build. Owner and appropriate professional review are required before publication.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run in the browser. The application has no endpoint that receives calculator amounts or subscription labels. Ordinary calculation does not require browser storage. Personal numbers are not put in tool links, page titles or social metadata.
Copy tool link copies the page address without query strings or fragments. It does not include your scenario.
Optional device saving
Choosing Save current stores a versioned scenario, including its currency, in this browser’s local storage. Older saved scenarios are identified as USD. Other people who use the same browser profile may be able to see it. Saving is optional and is not enabled merely by using a calculator.
Load saved reads that scenario only when selected. Delete saved removes that calculator’s saved scenario. Clearing site data in the browser also removes it. If storage is unavailable, the calculator continues to work. Remember these display settings separately saves only currency, number style and the dual-display choice. It never saves amounts or labels. Forget saved display settings removes that device preference record without deleting saved scenarios or changing your numbers. The header also keeps only currency, number style and dual-display choices in tab session storage so they follow you between pages and reloads. Normal display preferences contain no financial amounts or labels. If PDF download tools fail to load, choosing Reload and keep my numbers temporarily puts that calculator scenario, currency, and PDF options in tab session storage. The recovery copy is removed on the next calculator load and is not used after ten minutes. This recovery is optional, sends no numbers in URLs, and does not create a persistent device save. Session storage normally ends with the tab; browser session restoration may retain it.
Hosting and third parties
No advertising, analytics, session replay, external fonts, contact form or bank connection is enabled. There is no decorative cookie banner because optional tracking services are not active.
Picture Your Money is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes network information, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled. Calculator amounts and goal names are processed in your browser; they are not submitted to the host by the calculators. The operator, retention details and applicable rights process still require review.
Audience and future changes
The intended audience includes adult beginners, teens and parents. The actual audience, design and data practices require an owner assessment before public launch or any tracking or advertising integration. An age label alone does not resolve these questions.
Enabling a third-party provider requires a new data-flow review, an updated policy and any applicable consent and opt-out behavior. No advertising or analytics provider is approved or configured by this draft.
