The picture should make the numbers easier to understand, and the numbers should still be available without the picture.
Built-in alternatives
Calculators have labeled controls, visible focus, keyboard operation, text summaries and a View numbers table. Chart lines use text labels and different patterns as well as colors. Sliders have a paired number field.
The page provides a skip link and normal navigation links. Results are announced politely after changes settle. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. Without JavaScript, the original example and explanations remain visible and the calculator controls are disabled.
Verification status
The project targets relevant WCAG 2.2 AA criteria, but does not claim certification. Automated accessibility checks and responsive browser checks are recorded in the QA report with their actual results.
A real screen-reader review remains an explicit manual verification requirement. Automated scanning is not a substitute.
